Highly Gifted Teachers

A classroom full of supersmart kids is not easy to handle, much less engage, challenge and surprise.  Our teachers “get” their students.  They all attended HG schools, have HG children, and/or have worked with USC’s Dr. Sandra Kaplan for years on developing innovative approaches for teaching gifted students.  There is much love for hands-on project-based learning.  Please click on each teacher’s name for more information.

Robyn Arnold: 2^nd/3^rd grade

Kimberly Garcia: 4^th grade (and Social Studies, Language Arts to 5^th grade)

Karen Watson: 5^th grade (and Math, Science to 4^th grade)

Ms. Garcia and Mrs. Watson team-teach 4^th and 5^th graders, each emphasizing the subjects they are most knowledgeable and passionate about.
